Ive been looking at this board weekly for 6 mths, it's time I said hi to everyone.
I bought my SM 3/06. Learned how to ride in front of the dealership (IM 32yrs old 6ft. tall and heavily tattoo'd 2 sleeves, chest neck and head have their share) I looked more the part of some stereotypical Badass Biker than anyone else in there on multiple visits and was slightly embarrased)Salesman gave me the 5 min crash course and away I went on my 25 mile ride home....talk about a white knuckle workout!!!
Over the past 6mths 5300 miles and THANKS TO THIS BOARD I was able to gut my stock pipes (still didnt like the sound)and pull the snorkel. shortly after rejet the carbs w/ epco pipes from newspeedmaser, and did the homemade AI removal.
Does anyone have any thoughts on mounting a light bar with the turn signals mounted on top. I like the bar (not all the lights). Would the jc whitney bar #01zx1176 and the mounting clamps #3zx019963r get this going? I havent seen it done?
Wanting to get started on the stealth wiring project, want to move signals at same time.
