I just heard the news over the weekend when I stopped in. Luckily I live literally right on the border of NY and CT. Bought my bike at Ed's Service in New Hyde Park. Never regretted that. Compared to Ed's Canton was a big dealership.
Besides after stopping in at Ed's you can go to the brewery for a cold one. Cheers!
