I had a similar experience, running on one then the other cylinder would kick in, the bike at the time was under warranty so it ended at the dealers. The mechanic took it for a ride and came back sure enough it was on one cylinder then the other. He put it down to swarf (metal) in the coil, where the lead goes in. I myself think they could not find anything and just fob me off. The bike has run alright eversince though
