Cost me $50 for being an idiot. Happy to pay it with the knowledge it was nothing mechanical.
OT,
Long, long time ago I flew back into Spokane airport the day after Christmas. Go to the parking lot, turn the key, engine won't catch. Call a tow truck, go to a local repair shop, get a motel room, waste 1 1/2 days. I sat around the shop, they were mystified, they finally tracked it down to a bad wire connection running from the battery to the fuel pump in the gas tank (1991 Ford with 2 tanks). The part (shrink wrapped connector) was $5.95 as I remember. The whole episode cost me about $350
I would bet on an electrical issue, but then again maybe the gas tank is nearing empty and when you tilt the bike, fuel only runs into one carb?
Good luck, you'll be riding home tonight
