Riding into work this morning out of Hiram (Georgia) into Atlanta at 0600, I merge onto 75/85 south toward the airport, and just as I get to Turner field, one of the cylinders quits. I see a cop with his blues on off to the side of the 7 lane and limp off the road and pull up behind him for the protection of his lights from the 80 mph traffic. She is still running, but sounds BAD with the valves rattling and all. I decided to try to limp it on to the airport, still some 10 miles away, and BOOM, the other cylinder kicks in and off I go. I make it just north of loop road, and lost it again, had to limp her the rest of the way to work (4 miles now). Naturally there's a group of my co-workers standing where I park, and quickly comment on how crappy it sounds. I grab both headers, and #1 is cold. Don't know if it's fuel of fire at this point, not gonna worry about it, will load her in friends pick-up and drop her off at Coweta Custom Cycles around 11......let them figure it out...
