I've said it before and I'll say it again. The original design for the Rocket III was a 1500cc design. The design also included swoopier pipes and a overall more classic cruiser styling. It wasn't until after marketing and other folks got involved that the design changed to first a 1800cc then the final 2400cc design. From a marketing perspective this decision proved very fruitful. Triumph laid claim to the biggest, baddest production bike ever to hit the streets. Now perhaps it's time to return to it's roots and produce something that is more in line with what is desired and sought after in a production cruiser... namely a 1500cc bike with all the desired components.
