Installing a lite bar today and just a quick question. The harness it came with, do you just hook it into the harness under the seat. The lite bar harness has a square adaptor and a flat one. Do these match up with the bike harness under the seat? It looks easy with the instructions, just wanted to check with you guys, Thanks Doug

There's a flat connector with 6 pins on it that plugs into the bike's wiring harness. Remove your tank and you'll find it buried in the wiring somewhere near the carbs.

So I would just use the flat connector for now? I have checked you page on the installation. Not being a wiz with wireing I would use the easiest methord. This would probably be to having the lites on all the time. Thanks for your reply, doug

Triumph or aftermarket lite bar. The Triumph is pretty self explanitory and comes with great instructions. They mount the on / off switch on the lite housing.

If you decide to relocate the switch to the console, where it is much more convenient, that is a fairly simple and straight forward task. The only problem I’ve had with the lightbar is that it interferes with the Memphis Shades windshield. I solved that by fabricating a steel bracket and moving the lightbar forward two inches. If you decide to relocate the switch, it makes it easy to set it up so the lights only come on with the highbeams and go out when you select lowbeams. Oncoming traffic will thank you
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
