First, apologies if this has already been posted. For the last couple of weeks work has been interfering with my social life, which has limited time on here

I did the factory tour today. Before we went in the guide said we might see a new model being made. We didn't Apparently it was just pot luck that it wasn't on the line today. He hinted that it was a sports/tourer.

I did seee some '07 Speedys with totally different cast wheels. I think they even matched

I know this has been said before, but he also confirmed that the 865cc engine wil be FI from '08.

BTW, I thoroughly recommend the tour if you get chance. It's an impressive place - big, but still seems to have a friendly atmosphere.

Hmm, new front wheels that match the back? I would like a nice front wheel, I think the painted on is a bit of a cheap look ( especially when compared to the nice wheel on the Sportser ). I wonder how much a wheel would be sold for.

'Bout time they matched the wheels. FWIW, a front wheel from Bike Bandit runs $603.64. I'd imagine it'd be close to that price.

If the new front wheel is near-solid like the back one, crosswinds will make the bike unstable. It makes you wonder about factory testing.

If true this will really mess with my mind. I'd probably trade up to get EFI, plus deepending on the look i'd sure love a nicer front wheel that doesn't have that cheap painted look. But the EFI would likely make me trade up. But then the next year might see the 1200-1500 cruiser. Damn......I need to see into the friggin future.

By the way, i seriously doubt he meant the front wheel would be solid when he said "matching wheels". Probably meant same finish.

To clarify - both wheels were the same, but different to the current wheels. Keep in mind it was a quick look, but I recall the were a matt silver /grey finish with 6 (maybe 8?) "spokes".
