A 16/44 is a final drive ratio of 2.75:1 and the 17/43 is 2.53:1 which should be a BIG difference. It would be higher than a stock speedy (16/42=2.63:1) and lower than a stock TA (17/42=2.47:1). An 18/43 would = 2.39:1, a little higher than a stock TA but a little lower than where I am now 18/42 (2.33:1).
Eventually, I'll have to get one of the 43s and try it out.
