Anyone accomplished this ? With bags on, the passenger is kind of wrapped around those bags. Man, when I took the peg hangers off I thought, if I can mount pegs in one of those peg hanger bolt holes that would be a perfect position for the passenger ...

The peg bolt and hanger holes are the same. The passenger peg can go in either of them.

Go to newspeedmaster.com and get some nice finishers and use the passenger peg instead of a bolt in the bottom. The peg bracket has a couple of locating pins sticking out the back. Get a couple of nylon washers and install them between the peg and the bike.

Good luck!

I took the original mount plates off and screwed the pegs into the lower bolthole, the one with the rubber gromet that holde the pipe hanger.
If you want to use the upper bolthole, you should either make special washers with holes drilled for the locating pins, use rubber washers or cut off the pins. It's brobably not a good idea to cut the pins, you might want to put it back to stock someday.

Works good looks better. Used the nuts from the back of the pegs to add a little extra security. I have the pegs in the tops holes, didnt use any special washer just bolted them on(with the nut for back up). If you place them in the right stop the two posts work out fine. Over 1000 miles like this. My passanger is 5'5" and loves them. I have the stock ba seat and buddy pad. It was a little short with the sm seat. I used a few bolts that were left over from my front fender to place in the rubber stopper on the bottom hole. They fit fine. really cleans up the look of the bike.

Yeah it's fast. It's blue and it has flames.

I moved them to the front, lower. I am glad I have all the fringe on my seat. It hides the hole somewhat, looks ok to me. I am not so sure I need a finisher with the fringe, but the flame one does have my eye ...
