When my dad was in the army people would ask him where he was from, he'd say Vermont and he usually got the "what part of Texas is that?" response. One drill sergent said "Vermont! Don't they have more cows than people there?" to which my dad replied "No we outnumber the cows, now we're working on the f-ing chickens."
