I recently had a big problem with the fuel shut off leaking major amounts of gas into the airbox. bunch of friends of mine and I trailered to sturgis (we left at 1am from Philly which is only part of the reason I left it on by accident.) and drove straight thru (29 hrs). when we got there, there was about a 1/4 gallon of gas in the air box. I had to remove the seat and soak it up with rags to get it started again. I know I made the mistake and i realize that the bouncing around on the trailer contributed to the issue but it did seem like large amount. Dont know if anyone had this type of issue before but its all the more reason not to leave the valve on when not riding!!

Risk surrounds everything worth having.
