Looking on replacing front tire with a metzeler tire. Would any one have any feedback on which style would be suitable for a replacement. Thanks ,doug

The stock tire on the SpeedMaster seems nice.
I've done rain riding with it and so far
I'm happy. Not sure why
Triumph used one style tread on front and a different
on back but they seem ok.

Of course you have to run tubes, but the Metzler stock tires on the Speedmasters are real sweet. Sure footed on all pavement - wet, grooved, whatever.

Got 12k on my first rear, and I've got that almost again on the second but it looks okay yet. Got 20k out of the front. There is nothing else I would consider.

I like the stock front but I ain't sure
about the back. I've felt slip on wet roads.
That's what makes me wonder about the tread
pattern mismatch Triumph went with?
