Piper, no motorcycle experience with Pennzoil, but if it leaves residue behind in the bike like I've seen in some cars, I'd steer clear. Used to be Pennzoil was a parafin based oil, and they (parafin oils) all used to cause problems (my experience mostly with Japanese cars). I have always recommended an "ash-based" oil, Castrol, Mobil, Valvoline in cars. My personal take on the bike is to use the Triumph recommended Mobil; oil's cheap enough, and if Hinkley want's Mobil, Mobil it is. Lot's of other opinions, now you have mine...
