I’ve had D&D’s on my bike for about 2 years. The finish has held up and they have never discolored. I fell in love with the sound of the pipes the minute I heard them. They have a really deep rumble to them and once you have them on for a while, no other pipes sound as good. Since the Sceptre’s are stainless steel, you will have a lot more polishing to do to keep them looking good. As with all stainless pipes, they have a tendency to get a gold hue to them. It can be polished out, but they are more work then the D&D’s. I tried the Sceptre’s for about 3 weeks last year and finally took them off, sold them and put the D&D’s back on because they sounded better.
