Ive seen some videos on this Hill Climbing sport. WOW...those guys are fearless.

The bikes are pretty cool too. Loooooong singarms and really wild looking rear tires. Looks like they have a seris of paddles aattached to the tire to make them dig in.

Some of the bikes they use have HD engines. I would imagine with all that low down touque they would do very well.

That is very cool. Fearless is right!

I was also watching the worker guys who were stopping the bikes and riders from tumbling back down. That's pretty friggin fearless too!!

They have a large AMA sanctioned hillclimb down the road a bit from me eash year. I had to work and missed it this year but it is very cool. Poag's Hole Hillclimb
The bikes are really cool and many run just one gear and burn jet fuel or nitrous. They put them up on milk crates to start them with the little spinner machines and drop the rearend down and off they go, faster then all get out.
The Triumphs usually dominate the winners too. Most of the guys are also as old if not older than me. That was surprising to see. But what a blast they are to watch in person, and loud!!!

Amazing. I've seen that before i think, or a similar one. I recall going up an insanly huge hill on my yami 360MX some 30 years ago and making it 1/2 way up. Thats was the easy part ! Getting it back down i think i got my first few grey hairs.

i have always been a big fan of the hill climbs, i dont see enough of that on t.v. (hardly any) and i wish there was more!!! but did anybody catch where that hill is, that has got to be one of the baddst hills i have seen yet. also like pat said, Triumph is one of the best hill climbers ever, in the day they would beat all comers and still today, they are doing quite well in that game. thanks for the video, but i wish i knew where it was.

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!
