Let me get back to you about this. I'll measure both tomorrow and post the results here. Main diff. is that the original one is convex and the touring is concave. More ergonomic so to speak. Before changing the mrs could take about 20-30 mins of riding before she needed a break. No complaints now, even if we don't stop for a couple of hours.
