I've been playing with my air-mixture screws to try and reduce popping and backfiring on decel. I was about to change my pilot jets to 45's and resynch the carbs when I began to take real notice of the many tubes that make up the CA emissions. I know that any air leak can cause popping so I decided to rip all that crap off...no more popping or backfiring on decel! I'm running Staintune pipes, 135 jets at sea level, AI removed. My 05' BA was bought in NH, lives in MA, and has never been to CA!

If you haven't already done so, make sure it has the rollover valve in the tank vent line. That's could turn out to be important one day.
