Well it looks like OCC is building massed produced bikes to be distributed at various dealers across the nation(probably Europe too). I never thought I would see the day when they would compete with the likes of Big Bear Choppers, Big Dog, and American Iron for sales of their bikes to the common buyer....Angelis

If they can just make the engines fit in the frame.

That should keep the old man in steroids for a very long time.

Love 'em or hate 'em, they've sure done very well for themselves financially, starting out as wrought iron fence and step rail fabricators.

Interesting, I enjoy watching OCC and some of their bikes are cool. But you really have to wonder what the build quality on a "mass-produced" bike from them would be.

During last night's show, they went to mount the forward controls only to find they were too far forward for human use, so they had to switch to mid-mount controls. Their design process is a matter of throwing stuff at a bike and see whatr sticks.

I mean, Mikey's funny and all, but I don't want him building MY bike. lol

I saw that title and I immediately thought I.P.O.

I am not a big fan of OCC, but, going public is a smart move for them.
go to any of these big rallies, and count the number of "custom" bikes. Lots of guys out there ready to hand over 30 or 40 grand for a bike.
the big question will be can they make more than 1/2 dozen a year

Yes, as long as they keep the Teutels out of the production process.

The prototype looked like a reasonable design with mid controls. I liked the style but I'm not sure how the quality would be under mass production. I can't imagine spending $30K to $40K for any bike. I just don't have that amount of discretionary money available to blow on a bike. I'm sure there are plenty that would spend the money for an OCC bike but not me. I'd rather build my own from a kit because it would be more satisfying to me that I built it myself. I want to learn to MIG and TIG weld and eventually acquire the skills and tools necessary to build a bike. The thing that kills me is how much some of these custom paint jobs cost. The painters spend 2 days and want $5K for the paint job. What makes them think they're worth that much. I know doctors that don't make that much per hour.

before i give my oppion look in my photos and see the bike i bult with my own hands, the only thing i did not do on that bike was the chrome plating.

their are two type of people, those that can and those that manage, Paul and Paul Jr.. My hat is off to OCC for what they have done. that have bult a very successfull business. i hear they make more money selling t-shirts than bikes. (sounds like Harley to me) i hate 95% of their bikes, i like the bike cody and paul did toghter. I sometimes watch their show. many artist have started paintings only to chuck the idea and start over. how many versions of the Mona Lisa are they? how many have you seen. this is not ment to cut anyone only to stir some thought.
