The 130s with the Epcos showed a slight gold starting.
Put 42 pilots in in place of the 40s
but I can not see putting even 130s in at this point!
Gonna step up a tad.
Mine were shipped with 122 mains and 48 pilots. That is what she is running with and has been doing so for 40,000 miles. The Sceptres will gold up around the slip on joint. And a little bit flared off towards the back from the clamps. I have only had to clean the pipes once to remove the gold and another time to keep the gold from re-emerging. I have always wanted to try bigger mains and maybe drop the pilots to 45s but since I don't load-up at idle, I have no flat spots, my plugs are the color of Nawleans (chocolate per Ray Nagin  ) and She'll pull a ton when I get her aroused, I ride her and leave the fondling for when she really needs it.
