I really don't get how you can twist the bar-end while holding the throttle, all with one hand while moving. I suppose you could let go the throttle and set the lock then twist up the throttle to where you want it, but that seems really "klunky" to me.
For me, I'd be a lot more inclined to get either the
BrakeAway or
Vista cruise controls (more accuratley called Throttle Locks). The Vista's much cheaper and does the job, but the BrakeAway has the benefit that it automatically turns itself off if you hit the front brakes. This gets around one of the biggest accident-causing issues with throttle locks.
