went for a run out today to matlock, my brother neil came with me on his fj1200,it was his 1st time there even though he lives a lot closer than me in walsall (in the birmingham area!!!)(just for Adey!) and i live in middlesbrough(newcastle area lol )..Anyway we had a good day.well half a day, got there at about 1pm.there was another green ba 05 plate and a red ba with some nice flat bars with long risers on it and the flame paint work.neil did his good samaritain thing and repaired a lads puncture on his jap sports bike.this lad was useing that foam stuf and it was just squirting back out of the tyre.my brother has 1 of those kits with wedge repairs and gas canisters to reinflate the tyre,it worked a treat, think it only works on tubeless tyres tho?.when we got back to the bikes there was a woman looking at my bike she was saying how nice it was and she wished her bloke would get 1.i let her have a sit on it,when she was going she grabed my arse and said look after it!! .well that made my day!!better not let the wife know tho,might be sleeping with the bike in future??which wouldnt be a bad thing haha

You may have walked past my sis!!!! She was supposed to be going to a VeeDub meet and got lost.....She ended up in Matlock. Her bloke was happy - he like's her Beetle, but hes a biker...

And yeah Dave you really should go to Matlock. Stop on the way back from Stormin.....

the only thing that spoilt the day was when a load of trikes turned up and dumped machines anywhere they felt like it!there was 4 of them n looked like somthing outa mad max!!!one had skulls all over it(probably real ones lol) their language and behaviour(their kids too) spoilt the good atmosphere. we ended up moving our bikes cos they had blocked a lad in on his cbx1000,one of the women off the trike bunch came out with a string of words i wouldnt even use, and im no angel by a long way!!.it realy annoys me that they think its ok' to act like that,then the kids that are with them grow up thinking its ok too.no wonder 'Jo public' have this idea in their heads that bikers are trouble makers n not nice people.(ive finished having a moan now!!!). but their presance there wont stop me going again,cos 99%of the lads there are a great bunch its just a pitty the 1% can put a black cloud over it!(W****rs)
