I have explored much of this info and posted info elsewhere but to recap: BMW told Canton Cycles (CC) BMW line must have own larger and private floor space. So CC put out bid Gengras "a deal we could not refuse" Gengras has to take the Triumph line also as part of deal. Letter of intent has been signed by Gengras, now State of CT, agencies to include DMV and others must approve as well as Triumph North America. CC will continue to do general maintenance for Triumph, warranty work will be identified in final sales contract. CC is just too small, friendly and customer oriented to compete with the "BOX" concept of Triumph and BMW corporate. So if I need warranty work choice Libbyes New Haven, Gengras East Hartford or some dealer in Ridgefield (near Danbury) any way from a 10 minute drive to dealer to 45 to 60 min with people I don’t know or trust at this time and the famous get speedier service question "did you buy it (TBA) here? NO” SOL.
