I just did a 1000 mile ride with 2 other bikes, H-D's. The America sounds a bit anemic compared to those bikes, although the America seemed quicker up the hills. I was wondering if it is time to get new silencers that sound just a bit throat-ier. I looked at Ebco, but the sound bite for the Thruxton pipes seems too loud. Does anyone have the OEM Speedmaster style pipes? Do they sound a bit throtier than the America slash cut pipes?

ARe there any other choices that don't sound TOO loud, I don't want to be obnoxious, but is a bit loouder than what I have on my '04 America?
