Hi all, im sure i read somewere here that some of you have fitted the speedmaster risers on the america to give the bars a bit more hight,and that all cables on the america fitted ok only needing to re route the throtle cable to right hand side of frame. did i dream it or is this true. im thinking of doing this mod also. thanks for any help guys. oh, if any one has a pic would be good Thanks, safe riding.

That is true, the cables will be fine as the risers are only 3-inches taller. However check out brents site for the other risers which will probably suit you much better.

TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

Here's a PIC of the set I put on my bike... heavy chrome, no exposed screws/bolts, & $50 off of eBay !!

Even though I'm not vertically challenged I might consider Brent's risers for next year. Black or chrome, tough call...

Can i ask how much higher those are then the stock speedy risres and whether you needed to lengthen the brake line or cables? Also, did you have to drill the triple clamp?

They're 3", which I believe is approx. the same as the Speedmaster risers, thus.... no cable issues. BUT note: my bike's an America with Speedy bars. If you use these risers on TBA bars, you might have some tight throttle cables.

DAZCO... Yes, I had to drill out my triple tree (not a major task).
