Great songwriter and player, glad you found him. The slide is based on a Weissenhorn or Hawaiian lap steel for the most part. Then a guy named Asher made what he uses now w/a couple P-90's in it. I caught him in '97 and he mixed in a lot of Marley/Hendrix/Zeppelin/Marvin Gaye covers. You can hear all of them (and more!) now. Check out his cd "Fight For Your Mind". I got 'em all and that one is pretty strong.
