Does the fact that, once inflation is taken into account, prices are about where they were thirty years ago matter at all? Market forces kept oil prices low for years, now that short term demand is catching short term supply should we repeal the law of supply and demand because it doesn’t suit us?

How many other products did not go up a comparable amount? With the exception of those items such as electronics and computers where there have been technological revolutions and products where actual production is now being done in Chinese slave labor camps, almost everything has gone up a similar amount.

Oil companies are like drug companies. We all want their products but we don’t want to pay what they cost.


We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
