Henery, I wish I believed that simply building more refineries would help. Shoot, why not build more in Mexico, where there is no real EPA, I'm quite sure the Mexican government would turn a blind eye to any environmental concerns for a slice of the refineries profits. Sorry, to me, that's just another excuse by oil companies (who seem to change excuses on a monthly basis, hmmm, let's see, it was instabiliy in the Mid-East, Katrina, instability in the Mideast II, instability in Iraq, instability in Iran/Lebanon/Palestine, refining capacity, the threat of trouble from somewhere/something) to keep prices high now that they've seen we'll pay them. Hell, why should they drop prices, people are still buying SUV's and shelling out $3 a gallon. Complain we might, but it's not like we can go to someone else for fuel, now can we?
