I went to a Show 'n Shine on Saturday...drove 130 km to get there, It was just a small fledgling show, I think 2nd year for it. Lots of categories...Touring, British, Vintage, Custom, Stock, etc. A number of neat bikes...a 350 Jawa, a 350 Honda Super Hawk, a CB900 fully dressed, an old GT750 Water Buffalo! I had one of those! And a couple of old Indians...a Chief and a Scout...Anyway, guess who won Best British?
...yup...however, I must be honest wit youse guys...the only other British bike entered was a 1942 Norton 500cc side valve single...a war bike....and HE was entered in the vintage category. So my "victory" is bitter sweet...kind of like a boxer winning by default cuz the other fighter doesn't show up...sigh...
