I have the new style , but it didn't stand up to a 60 mph hit from a 'possum. I was just glad that I didn't hit it with the front tire. When I got home, there was some 'possum skin and hair still on the bent tang. Straightening it back caused some chrome to pop off, but it seems to be ok other than that.
