Sounds a bit like a
paddock stand tho I don't think they've got wheels on any of them, and our bikes're a bit too heavy for paddock stands anyway.
I think I saw something at one stage that was basically a flat plate with some small wheels on, that might be what you mean too?
Personally I'd be inclined towards a
motorcycle lift, that way you get to do interesting things like adjusting your chain etc too.
