OK got my new chrome cam cover on now how do i get the washers off my old cam cover...?

Just pry them gently from the inside. If they get mangled, they are cheap enough and the local dealers usually have them in stock. Be sure to replace them with the metal side up, facing the bolt.

The washers and rubber seals should just pull out....don't use anything sharp on them.
Maybe a small screw driver under the edge and gently pry up?
