I've been using it for several months. People following me say it flashes very bright. It only triggers under more than average breaking. Sever bumps do trigger it, but that is not all bad - it does get attention. While it's made of fairly stock components, it is well made and runs on watch/computer batteries. I've used it all summer and have not changed batteries. It's also any easy install.
