This weekend, Aug. 18-20 the AMA Superbike Big Kahuna Nationals return to Virginia International Raceway for some serious bike racing in the top three series. Check it out at web page. The racing is great with top speeds around 175 or more. Added features include the best stunt show I've ever seen along with the beautiful Umbrella Girls. I went there last year and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Unfortunately, I won't get to ride the TBA, my five year old son and I will be going in my truck and pulling a camper. He went last year and has been talking about it ever since.

Trash, if you have time Sunday, stop in to say hello. We'll be camping in the Family campground (near the top of the course beginning the downhill to the front stretch, red Dodge pickup with tall red shell, Chateau camper . It would be good to see a Triumph rider and forum member there.

Longmtnman, I didnt see you at the race. It was a great day if a bit hot. I was strutting around with my green triumph shirt on. I did see one bonnie america with some kind of custom seat covering. Never saw the rider of it though. Lots of rockets and other triumphs about. Anyone who's never been to watch these guys race should make an effort to go. Its pure amazing to watch.

Oh one other note. For a brief moment in time I was on speedtv. I happened to be standing in the corner as mat maldin flew by and the camera caught me. I think they were more interested in matt though.
