I adjusted the idle mix and it fixed the pop. It still needs to be dialed in a little more but I getting the TBS needle soon so I will adjust again then. I am also going to go with the 42 pilot jet from the stock 40 and try the shims with the new needle.
disney, thanks for the sugg. I may do that too in the near future depending on how these other mods work out.
Do I need to seal the bottom end somehow where the air will be coming in from the bottom? I dont remember there being any foam on the bottom of the K&N.
