The high prices are for removing and re-installing the wheels too. Thats what you're seeing. The Ducati shop i brought mine to charged me $20 for mounting and new tire and balancing. A patch wouldn't likely be much more. The same shop i paid $20 too wanted $65 to mount and balance if they also had to remove the wheel.
