I'm a long time Windows user and have a degree in electronics. I switched to Mac 2 years ago and have ZERO problems... no crashes, leave it on all the time, goes to sleep & doesn't forget, on and on... The fact is everytime you execute something in Windows you technically re-write the operating system through the registry. This is basically what makes it vulnerable to viruses. There is no such counterpart in the Mac. Perhaps someday a real virus will come, but in the meantime, I'm just smiling. The computer becomes a real tool instead of something you have to constantly nurse.
