The RCA jacks will not work correctly most of the time from turntabls. Magnetic vs ceramis cartridges, imbalanced impedance and other techno-babble.
The best way is to run it into a stereo, take a record output line and insert that into the sound card "line In" jack, NOT the mic jack.
Ok, how about some sharing now guys? Anyone have Pure Prarie Leagues FIRST album in digital format? This is the one with Country Song, Picking to beat the devil and I'll fix your flat tire Merle?
I cannot find it anywhere and there are even no references to it, it was a very cool album.
