What point am I missing, exactly? I thought we were talking about all out, no-holds-barred war? Are we doing this or not? Aren't we talking about the financiers? The arms suppliers? The moral supporters? The think-alikers? What about the supply lines and sources of new recruits? Shouldn't we go after those too?

Here's an idea. I propose a radioactive zone from the southern Lebanese border to the Litani River. Turn it to glass, make it glow. Make it unlivable for a cockroach. That should hold 'em back.
