Our stategy in wars up through WWII was "all out" to victory. We waged complete, total war in WWII ( Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Cologne and the Tokyo fire bombings are clear examples ) and that will be what will be needed to win again. In Lebanon, the Lebanese are claiming victory over Israel, and isnt that an admission that they support Hezbollah? Actually, an nation that will support a terrorist group, or refuses to clean them out of its own territory ( such as Lebanon ), deserves what it gets. If Hezbollah wants to hide behind the populace, then all will be targeted, and unfortunately many will die who are not a part of it ( yet, as citizens of that host nation, are they not collectively part of it ? ). This is much of what the author says. It is unpallatable, but well necessary to win, and to survive as nations and as the Western culture.
Every middle eastern country has supporters of Hezbollah, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the U.A.E, even Iraq to name only a few. I'm sure Turkey has a few, even though they are in NATO. India has tons of Muslims, and there must be at least a few that support Hezbollah. Are you suggesting that we fire-bomb all the cities in the middle east? The last batch of terrorists were born and raised in the UK. That means the UK supports terrorism too. Should we only firebomb portions of London? Naaaah, lets bomb the whole city and make sure we get them all. Sorry Adey and Gina, that's just the way it is. Hey, remember those riots in France last year? Don't forget to bomb Paris too. That wouldn't bother anyone around here. St. Paul has a sizable Muslim population. Robed Muslim women walk by my house every day. It looks like a typical midwestern suburb, but who knows what sinister things are brewing in those townhouses down the street. So don't forget to bomb St. Paul. Maybe we should use nukes. Why hold back? Let's go all the way. We have the technology. Let's use it.
