I have them also and do not have any problems. They are definitely a finer taper but not by an extreme amount. Next time I am dinking with the carbs, I will remove them and do a comparison to the stock screws. Tuning them is in 1/16 turns instead of 1/4 turns like I used to do with the stocks pilot screws. Right now, I have ZERO decel popping.

Do I muck with them a lot? No, but when I go up to the mountains, I do change them (more turned in) from where there are set to here. If I don't, the carbs pop like yota on beans!

I find them very convenient....
