thats what i did as i said in my last post, and i never burn my hand. A power driver but with a audio knob pounded onto the end is just like having thumbscrews once you slot the screws.
Reido113.....as to the backfires. I used to get those for a short time but jetting resolved it. I can't say which setup caused it and which relieved it, but the neddles believe it or not have had the most effect on resolving popping and backfire issues for me. I think a properly jetted bike won't pop or backfire. So it may just be that you need to get the bike jetted right. Also, maybe consider a differnt pilot since the screws aren't helping. Might just be the pilot size is too small to allow the screws enough range to rid the problem.
