Interesting. I have had a few extended rides (i.e. 1600 miles / 4 days) on my Corbin and just get off and feel great when the ride is over. Couldn't imagine doing that on the original.
The seat gets hot when the bike is parked but nothing compared to vinyl seats.
HOWEVER, I would not buy a Corbin at the new rates $$$$. WOuld definitely consider the Rick Mayer (even though they are WEIRD looking) or follow the cut-down advice above.
