I live in N.Y., way upstate, 30 miles from Canada, and I bet half the people here don't have a clue as far as correct driving procedures. I live on the edge of Fort Drum[ home of the 10th Mtn. division] and they are heavily deployed most of the time, this leaves young women from all over the country driving around here, not knowing where they are going, talking on cell phones, etc. My daughter will be driving next year and its easy to show her by example what not to do, on a daily basis. The driver training required is definitely lacking, cuz most people are just clueless.
