Yeah, I had seen your peg hangers, I didn't know though that you had actually cut anything out of them. What did you use to cut them with? Anything better than a RotoZip bit? Gotta be something better I would think. I have a friend that said I could use her plasma cutter anytime I wanted but she is not sure how it would work on aluminium. Actually I wished Triumph hadn't cheesed out and made actual tool boxes out of them instead of the faux thing then I wouldn't have felt compelled to "help" them, hehe.
The medallion thing is a good idea too. I had thought about giving that a try as I found some cool Triumph belt buckles on Ebay that I thought would be great for that. I wasn't sure how they would weather though but I guess you could have them clear powdercoated as extra protection.
Anyway if any of this provides more inspiration to people to try and customize them I think that would be great. I love seeing what people come up with.
