Hello all you scottish and UK BA members.......I'm thinking of a meet and ride out for BA members in Scotland and UK.......Anyone interested PLEASE leave a post......if there's enough interest, I'll get to work and get something sorted.......any imput IE: venue and roads to ride (IN SCOTLAND) would be appreciated......hope to here from yer.....of course any one from across the the pond would be very welcome

I don't mind 'em when I'm moving - just the buggers are a pain when stationary!

In saying that, I didn't see one when I visited a couple of years ago in mid-September.

yeh....if I,m left to choose, then the only thing that will be bite'n will be the beer.....mmmmm

And there's me not drinking anymore ...

Good ...that's two bikes so far !!! if there's more interest then I will look at get'n some FREE camping ground....

Just so you know, I'm away too from 18th - 27th Sept.

well I'm at storm'im the castle 1st to 3rd....so lets speak....if you like we'll speak about date's in this post....I'm easy....but we must make it a weekend... :

I am away 26th August to the 9th September but arrive back in the UK at 06.00, so will not want to ride on the Saturday. Sunday should be alright though

The weekend of 9/10 Sept would have been fine but I'm on a run with the local TOMCC and as I'm organising it....and they only set that date this evening!

So that weekend is out for me...weekend after's ok, but probably won't be for Ade...(see above)

I fly off EARLY Monday am on the 18th ... yipee!!!

There's still plenty of August left though ....

hey...real HAPPY for all the interest...*BUT*...wee can't all meet cos/of...comitment's...that's life....we need to make a date$!!!!...

i think were maybe a little late for a weekend meet this year....though a single day would maybe ok....anyone interested ????? ..........................sun 10 sept meet at 10 to 11am somewhere in central scotland.....any ideas ?

hi guys, let me know if you decide on a date,ill try my best to be there too, im going to the lakes with my brother on the 8th sept, with the yamaha fj owners club... sory for going to the dark side haha!!, so any time b4 or after then is ok.i might even bring the other half along too???.if thats ok... (wots that?? its just a lads ride out?? thats ok then lol) or if you want we can meet up at kirkstone pass at lake windermeer? thats where the fj owners are meeting, it might be fun to take over thier meet haha??? or am i being too cruel?by the way ade, n ray.. debbie said it was nice meeting you both

It was good to meet Debbie too (I did actually remember her name but I'm crap at remembering 'em, ask Dave .. I mean Ray. I find it's just better sometimes to suggest you'd forgotten it rather than get it wrong!!).

The Sunday of Sept 10th is the day (right Spud?).
I'm planning on going up on Saturday, kipping at a Travelodge, then meeting up on Sunday.

After that ... who knows, I might knock a day or two off from the work and head up to John O'Groats for the run to Lands End I keep promising myself I'd do (already done it non-stop in a car - which doesn't count really does it?).

Hopefully see you on the 10th.

The SECC is located just off the M8 motorway, just outside Glasgow.
Just 10 miles or so from the bonnie shores of loch lommond.
Some of the best scenery in Scotland and of course, some of the best roads to.

il try my best to be there but like i said i am going camping with my brother that weekend with the fj owners club!!!!, but ill try n drag him along, if you dont mind a yamaha joining us too?
