Don't know what you guys think about the rear peg hangers but personally I think they are just plain sad... now if they really WERE tool boxes that would be a different story. Anyway, I got a spare set from a member here (thanks Lee) and wanted to try my hand at a little custom work. After coming up with what I thought was a cool drawing I stripped off the grey powder coating, ground off the ridges then made up a router jig from a piece of plexi and went to town on it with a dremel and a zip bit. I have them both done now and need to clean them up a little bit more with some filing and sanding and then I'm going to try my hand at polishing them up. I don't think they are that nice to warrant the expense of a chrome job but I'm pretty happy with them for my first go anyway at metal fab kinda stuff.
So what you guys think? Da bomb or weak?....lol
