Hey Derek ...what would be the "Good Housekeeping" seal of approval from the local "patch clubs"?

Interestingly enough the dance club my wife and I belong to is having a theme night anniversary of the club in Sep
tember and they chose a "biker hells angels theme" You know everyone is supposed to show up at the dance club in some kind of "biker" costume.

On of the members of the board said he wished he had some "Hells Angels" patches so he could wear a costume that would "steal" the show so to speak. I told him that would not be wise..especially if he were to wear it in public and be spotted by the real deal...he might at a minimum just get a really good beating. He looked at me funny and said..."They would not do that would they?"

I told him to just buy a bandanna and if he has an old leather jacket to just wear that but not to attempt to fabricate or emulate an actual "Hells Angels" Patch.

I know some of the clubs even those that are not "outlaws" in nature are really funny about their colors being bandied about.

But why would the local clubs have an issue with the type of "No Club Lone Wolf Patch?"

And for that matter what business of theirs would it be what a private citizen wears on his jacket as long as it is not affiliated with them?
