SIDI boots work very good for me. I got the Panters because they were the cheapest waterproof riding boot I found (and it seems most of my long rides are in the rain). Also got them a size larger so electric socks would fit. They work well in the heat, rain, and cold. The left toe does show some shift wear after a couple of years, but a little Kiwi every now and again takes care of that.
