I paid full sticker for my 05 TBA. $8,000.00. But they did agree to throw in the Speedmaster wheel kit $790.00 and the tubless Metzler tires $200.00, and the prep, and the low sissy bar $260.00. If you think about the retail bucks to me that saves about $1250.00.

Tell them you will pay the full retail but make them put goodies on it. The goodies cost them a lot less than they will cost you later. I think they have about a thousand in fat on them before they bottom out.

Remember, most are using GE Capitol credit or similar lender. After 90 days they start to pay for the floorplan (all bikes over 90 days in the building). The payments will get them backwards pretty quick. If they have had a bike for 60 days or so, thats the one you want to negotiate on. They need that one out the door. The one they just got in and built they have time to wait on.

I also think Speedmaster is outselling America by a large amount of units. That being the case, the speedys will move for the dealer faster than the TBA. That TBA will be a negotiable item.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.
